Some of our best styles begin with a single sentence: “Can you make this in linen too?” A customer in the showroom, a sketch on the cutting table – and a few weeks later a new small-batch series is hanging in our warehouse. That is how a second-generation family business works.
The beginning: fabric and idea
Every series starts with the material. We literally stand at the bolt, feel the drape, test the hand of the fabric. Only once the fabric convinces us does the cut take shape – designed for real curves, not for shop-window mannequins. For us, oversized does not mean “cut big”, but thoughtfully draped.
Manufacturing: in-house
Cutting, sewing, final inspection – it all happens in our own production in Germany and the EU. That means we see every piece before it travels to you. Anything that does not meet our standards does not leave the building. And because the distances are short, it takes weeks from idea to finished series – not seasons.
Small by design
Our signature line AKH Fashion is deliberately made in small runs. For your boutique that means pieces your customers will not see on every corner – and a range that sets you apart from the chain store next door.
What this means for you
Short distances are not a romantic argument but a commercial advantage: we can reproduce bestsellers while demand is still running. No container, no minimum-order poker, no six months of lead time. You order, we sew.
