Fabric Guide – Our Materials

Every fabric tells its own story – and sells differently. Here you'll find an overview of all the materials in our collections: what makes them special, how they drape, and how to care for them. Click on a fabric name to see all items made from that material (B2B login required).

Poplin

A finely woven quality with a smooth, matte surface. Holds its shape, fully opaque, and drapes light and cool – ideal for blouses, tunics and summery layered-look pieces. Easy care: machine wash at 30–40 °C, irons easily.

Jersey

A stretchy knit fabric with a soft hand and outstanding wearing comfort. Fluid drape, crease-resistant, completely fuss-free – the workhorse for shirts, dresses and leggings. Machine wash at 30 °C, dries quickly, ironing rarely needed.

Linen

A natural bast fibre with a characterful texture. Cooling, breathable, and softer with every wash – the summer classic of the layered look. The slight creasing is part of its charm; wash gently, iron while damp.

Crinkle

A woven fabric with a permanently set crinkle texture. Lively look and extremely easy to care for – no ironing needed at all. Creates wonderful silhouettes in oversized cuts and is perfect for travel and everyday wear.

Viscose

A softly flowing cellulose fibre with a silky hand and subtle sheen. Drapes elegantly, feels cool on the skin and takes colour brilliantly. Gentle wash at 30 °C, hang to dry.

Knit

From fine gauge to chunky knit: warming, versatile and cosy. The autumn and winter building block for waistcoats, jumpers and wrist warmers. Dry flat, gentle cycle or hand wash.

Batik

Every piece is one of a kind: hand-dyed gradients and patterns make batik a true statement in the layered look. Wash separately and cold to preserve the colour character.

Cotton

The natural all-rounder: kind to the skin, breathable and hard-wearing. Comfortable in every season and easy to care for – machine wash up to 40 °C.

Fleece

Light, warm and wonderfully cosy – ideal for jackets and transitional pieces. Dries quickly, doesn't crease and reliably keeps its shape even after many washes.

Mesh

A sheer mesh fabric for true layering effects: worn over other pieces, it adds depth and interest to any outfit. Light and airy – gentle wash recommended.

Chiffon

Feather-light and sheer with a fluid drape – for elegant layers and festive accents. Gentle wash in a laundry bag, hang to dry.

Tulle

A fine, airy net fabric with volume – the fabric for playful skirts and dramatic layers. Holds its shape and weighs next to nothing; iron on low heat only.

Waffle

A waffle texture with a sculptural look and soft hand. Temperature-regulating and comfortable – lovely for shirts, trousers and relaxed looks.

Satin

A smooth, lustrous surface with an elegant shimmer – adds festive accents to the layered look. Fluid drape; gentle wash, iron inside out.
